Ceremonial grade matcha for a smoother daily tea ritual
Our Ceremonial Grade Matcha is a finely ground Japanese green tea powder with a smooth, grassy flavour and natural depth. Whisk it traditionally with water or prepare it as a creamy matcha latte.
- Fine green tea powder for whisking
- Smooth flavour for hot matcha, iced matcha and lattes
- A focused daily ritual inspired by Japanese tea culture
What is ceremonial grade matcha?
Matcha is made by grinding green tea leaves into a fine powder, so you consume the whole leaf rather than steeping and removing it. Ceremonial grade matcha is selected for a smoother flavour and bright colour.
How to prepare
Sift 1/2-1 teaspoon into a bowl, add a little warm water and whisk until smooth. Top up with more warm water or milk. Avoid boiling water, which can make matcha taste bitter.
Serving ideas
Enjoy as traditional matcha, iced matcha, a matcha latte, or blended into smoothies with banana, vanilla and oat milk.
FAQ
Is matcha stronger than green tea? Matcha is powdered whole green tea leaf, so the flavour is fuller than steeped green tea.
Can I make lattes with it? Yes. It works well with dairy milk or plant milk.
